ClicTabs Terms of Service

1. The service

ClicTabs is a Chrome extension that saves your tabs, windows and tab groups on your computer, takes automatic snapshots, and restores them. ClicTabs Pro adds a daily backup file in your own Google Drive. ClicTabs helps you keep your tab lists; it does not guarantee that no data will ever be lost: Chrome, your computer or Google Drive may fail, and a page that needs a login will reopen on its login screen. Export your sessions regularly if they matter.

2. Free version

Saving, snapshots, the calendar, crash recovery, restoring, import and export are free, unlimited, and need no account.

3. Free trial

You get 7 days of Pro free. No card needed. The trial is linked to your Google account, one per person.

4. Pro: price

Pro costs $3 per month, or $29 once for a lifetime license. Taxes are included. At checkout you may see the price in your local currency. Your payment is processed by Link, a payment service by Stripe, which sells ClicTabs on our behalf as the reseller of record; Link's terms apply to the payment itself. Your bank statement shows LINK.COM* CLICAUTO. The monthly plan renews every month until you cancel.

5. Lifetime license

One payment gives you the Drive backup and every update, for as long as we offer ClicTabs. It is personal, linked to your Google account, and can't be transferred or resold. If we ever stop offering ClicTabs, we'll tell you at least 90 days before, and the extension will keep working as it is on your computer; the files in your Drive stay yours.

6. Your Google Drive

The backup files are created in your own Google Drive, under your Google account and Google's terms. We have no access to them. If you revoke ClicTabs's Drive permission, the backup stops; the files already there stay.

7. Cancel anytime (monthly plan)

Cancel anytime from ClicTabs → Settings → Manage subscription, or from your Link account at link.com. You keep Pro until the end of the month you've paid for, then the Drive backup stops. Everything local keeps working. No further charges after that.

8. Refunds

The free trial lets you try Pro before paying, so we don't refund payments, including partial months and lifetime licenses, except where the law says otherwise. Link, which processes your payment, may also grant a refund under its own policy.

Right of withdrawal (EU and UK consumers). When you subscribe or buy a lifetime license, you ask us to start your paid service right away, and you confirm that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the service has started. We record this confirmation. If you do not give this confirmation, you cannot buy.

9. If a payment fails

We or Link will let you know by email. Pro keeps working for 3 more days while you update your card. After that, the Drive backup stops until the payment goes through.

10. If our servers are down

If you're a paying customer and our servers are unreachable, Pro keeps working for at least 7 days. A lifetime license is never cut off. We will never cut off a paying customer because of a problem on our side.

11. Price changes

If the monthly price changes, we'll email you at least 30 days before. You can cancel before the new price applies. Price changes never affect a lifetime license you've already bought.

12. Fair use

Don't try to break, copy, resell or reverse-engineer ClicTabs, or get around the trial.

13. Liability

ClicTabs is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

14. Changes and contact

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell users by email. Questions: contact@clicauto.com.
